At breakfast this morning, it started to snow. Now, in all honesty, we did have a few flakes falling here on the 12th of Ocotber, but only enough to identify it as snow before it melted upon hitting the ground. So when it started to snow this morning I naturally said "pretty, but it won't stick. It's only the 14th of October and the ground is still too warm." Silly me! Three hours later it is still snowing! It has covered the ground and judging by the cloud cover it won't be letting up before lunch.

The kids were really keen to get their snow clothes on and go have a snowball fight, but Dan and I were really keen to get the fireplace cleaned out and going! Needless to say the kids won out and after lunch they bundled up and went out to play. It took them less than 1/2 hour to construct this snowy threesome! I'm still hoping for a nice warm fireplace tonight though.

Greetings and Salutations
I told you to move to a warmer climate. We got our first snow yesterday ... Dec. 30, 2006.
