Snow in January - a Novelty??!!??

Amazingly, yesterday was the first snowfall we have had since mid-November. We have had an exceptionally warm winter so far, with temperatures soaring into the high 50's in early January. We have had many days of rain, and most days over 40 degrees (F). The ski resorts are really hurting and we're quite bummed as this was the first year that we had purchased a family season pass to the local Cross-Country Ski center. We are all hoping to get in some skiing later in the month if weather permits - however, it is supposed to rise about 40 and rain again on Thurs/Fri this week.

Meanwhile, the Competitive Swim Season is now 1/2 over and we are in the home stretch with only 5 more meets until Championships. All of the kids are doing great at knocking fractions and full seconds off their event times. Erin has not yet qualified for the District Meet at the end of the season.

No picture this week - soon tho - J
